At Earthy Picks Vegan, this month feels especially meaningful. Behind the vibrant plant-based bowls and smoothies is a story rooted in culture, passion, and the belief that food can bring people together.

My name is Tatiana Henao, and the journey behind Earthy Picks began long before the restaurant opened its doors in Downtown Orlando.

✨ Starting with a Vision

Like many entrepreneurs, my journey didn’t begin with a storefront. It began with pop-ups, markets, and community events, where I shared plant-based dishes inspired by Latin flavors and fresh ingredients.

Those early experiences helped me realize something powerful: food has the ability to nourish not only the body, but also the connections between people.

Slowly, what started as pop-ups began to grow into something bigger — a vision for a place where people could gather, eat well, and feel good about what they’re putting into their bodies.

Being a Latina woman in business has shaped the way I approach Earthy Picks. In our culture, food is about family, hospitality, and community — values that are deeply woven into everything we do.

Like many women entrepreneurs, the journey came with challenges. But it also came with purpose. Creating a business that supports wellness and connection has been one of the most rewarding parts of this path.
