Five years ago, Earthy Picks was just a dream under a tent. A small table, fresh ingredients, and a vision: to share plant-based food with a Latin twist that could make people feel good from the inside out. We didn’t have a storefront, just a belief that food could bring people together, spark joy, and inspire healthier living.

What started as a market tent with tacos, burritos, and smoothies soon turned into something bigger than we ever imagined. People kept coming back — not just for the food, but for the feeling. Smiles, conversations, the sense of community… it was clear we were building more than just plates of food; we were building connections.

Fast forward, and Earthy Picks Vegan found its forever home in the heart of Downtown Orlando’s South Eola neighborhood. With a cozy, calm atmosphere and a menu full of vibrant flavors — tacos, bowls, soups, juices, sweet treats — we’ve stayed true to our roots:

It hasn’t always been easy. Opening a restaurant in the middle of downtown came with challenges, but also countless moments of joy — like seeing families gather around our tables, runners refueling with smoothies, and newcomers discovering that vegan food can taste this good.

As Earthy Picks grew, so did our mission. We realized wellness isn’t just about what’s on your plate — it’s about how you live, move, and connect. That’s why we started the Lake Eola Run|Walk Club, bringing people together every week to move, laugh, and celebrate healthy habits.

It’s been amazing to see this club evolve — strangers becoming friends, fitness becoming fun, and our brand reaching more people who share our love for community and wellness.

Here we are: 2 years strong, thousands of burritos later, and still glowing with gratitude. What started under a tent has become a thriving hub for plant-based living in Orlando.
